Born in Taiwan, LuLu Yen graduated in Automotive Design from Coventry University, UK. After living in the UK for four years and having experiences in the furniture industry in the UK, Italy, China and Indonesia, she dedicates herself to designing contemporary furniture with the theme of the Taiwanese traditional crafts and the living elements in the past. By revealing self-culture, she wishes to show the uniqueness of Taiwanese furniture on the international stage. Her works are characterized by harmonizing tradition and modernity, blending multi-materials with contemporary style and attention to detail.
